Message in a bottle...

I’m not very diligent when it comes to blogging, and in fact that observation errs on the generous side –  in truth I am not diligent at blogging in any shape or form or at any time… ever. Whatever the reasons for that, it seems self-apparent that if I don’t talk to you, it would follow that you are not going to talk to me. Therefore, appreciating that I might well end up talking to myself (which I already do anyway), I will try to mend my ways.

So this is my message in a bottle, and if it washes up on your shore, speak to me if you will.

I have been exhibiting paintings at the small art gallery at Cockington Court in Torquay, together with woodcarvings by Tony Harmel. I am not going to go into this partnership here – suffice to say that our collaboration is unusual in that Tony has gained his skills as a woodcarver under my tuition and support despite the fact that he is afflicted with frontotemporal dementia. Read about this story in more detail in the Portfolio section of my website under the portfolio title “Kitchen Gallery Exhibition 2013 ~ Background”, and also you can view the exhibition itself in the portfolio “Kitchen Gallery Exhibition Cockington, Torquay 2013”.

More about the exhibition later.
